Fred Powell Jr, Wendy Burton and FlightApps Fortify Stellar’s Operator Services Team

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, NOVEMBER 19, 2015 – Stellar Labs, the first complete digital marketplace for private aviation, today announced two significant additions to team. Fred Powell Jr. and Wendy Burton bring deep industry experience and long-standing relationships with Part 135 operators. Stellar also announced that FlightApps will support the integration of Stellar with operators’ flight management systems and will augment our existing Operator Service offerings.

For the last 20 years, Fred Powell Jr. has been private aviation’s leading developer of flight operations management systems. During his tenure as the Chief Architect, Designer and Program Manager for FOS, the system became the dominant solution for corporate, charter, and OEM operations – used by 50% of Fortune 100 companies and 85% of charter operators.

Wendy Burton comes to Stellar with over 15 years of industry experience that includes being an integral part of growing one of countries largest aircraft brokerage companies from start-up stage (Sentient Jet), to holding a series of executive level directorships for some of the country’s leading air charter and management companies. For the past 10 years, Wendy has served as Chair for the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) California division of Schedulers and Dispatchers (SONO).
