Stellar Privacy Policy Statement
This statement describes how Stellar collects, stores, uses, and shares information about you. By using the Stellar website, you consent to the practices described in this statement. This privacy policy statement applies to Stellar Mobility, LLC. (also referred to in this document as Stellar) and to Stellar’s website, www.stellar.aero (“the Site”).
Collecting your information
Personal information you provide. In order to better provide information to you about our company or our products and services, Stellar may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, company, job title, postal address, email address, and phone number. We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide personal information when you elect to use certain features available on the Site. These features may include: completing a form to contact us or to request information; subscribing to an email newsletter; registering to download or to view content; and registering to attend a live webinar or to view a recorded one. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you about company news and the products and services we provide.
Cookies. Stellar’s web server may place small text files called “cookies” on your computer’s hard disk to help control and personalize your experience of the site. A cookie lets the web server know that you have returned to the site. When you return to the Site, information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can more easily use features you personalized. For example, if you register for our newsletter, or to attend a webinar, or to download some content, a cookie helps the web server remember your information on later visits. A cookie may also control the behavior of the website, so you see new information or don’t see portions that are inappropriate for a returning visitor. You may accept or decline cookies. Automatically collected information. Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Stellar. This information may include your IP address, device type, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. The information is used for the operation of the Site, to maintain its quality of service, and to provide statistics regarding its use.
Storing your information
Third-party servers. We may store your information on servers provided by third-party vendors with whom we have contracted, such as AWS, Salesforce, Mailchimp, and similar.
United States jurisdiction. Stellar and its third-party vendors are located in the United States and are subject to applicable state and federal laws of the United States. If you choose to access the Site, you consent to the use and disclosure of information as described in this statement and subject to such laws.
Using your information
General. Stellar collects and uses your personal information to operate the Site and to deliver content you have requested. Stellar may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of company news and of products and services available from Stellar.
Tracking user behavior. Stellar may track the pages our users visit within the Site in order to determine what topics are most popular and to improve the Site.
E-mail communications. Stellar may send you email to provide company news, announcements, offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and other communication. To improve our processes, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Stellar or click on an included link. We respect your privacy and give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving information and announcements from us. You may unsubscribe from further communications by clicking a link at the bottom of these emails.
Sharing your information
Stellar does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties. Stellar may share data with trusted partners, such as Salesforce, Mailchimp, and similar, to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide portions of our services. These third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Stellar and they are required to protect the confidentiality of your information.
Protecting children
Our products and services are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are a citizen or a resident of an European Economic Area country or of Switzerland, you may have certain rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) regarding your personal information. These include your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and data portability.
