Stellar Labs appoints Silicon Valley veteran Tat Ng to VP of Engineering

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – March 8, 2018 –Silicon Valley technology company Stellar Labs, Inc. (“Stellar”) announced the appointment of Tat Ng as VP of Engineering. In this role, he oversees a growing engineering team as the company continues to scale and expand its offerings.

Tat is a highly accomplished software engineering leader with a strong track record of building and scaling high-performance teams. He has had repeated success leading organizations ranging in size and complexity from start-ups to globally distributed teams spanning ten countries. Prior to joining Stellar, Tat was CTO of Spruce Finance, a Kleiner Perkins company, where he led the effort to build a unified SaaS origination platform for PPA, Loans, PACE and other financing products.

Upon joining Stellar, Tat oversaw the development and launch of the Stellar Cloud—the next- generation software delivery infrastructure platform for business aviation solutions—built on the industry-leading and proven Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) infrastructure. The Stellar Cloud is the preferred infrastructure environment for Rockwell Collins’ ARINCDirectSM Flight Operations System (“FOS”) and the foundation for future next-generation flight operations management solutions currently under joint-development by Stellar and Rockwell Collins.
